In order to maintain a high standard of discipline and academic excellence, parents should kindly study the school's policy.
Children should arrive at school at 7:30am for primary & J. H. S. and 8:00am for pre-school. The gate will be locked after 8:00am and under no circumstance will a pupil be allowed in unless with a medical excuse from a Doctor.
School closes at 2:00pm for pre-school and 3:30pm for Primary and J. H. S. Children should be picked on time. The teacher on duty stays till 4:00pm any child unpicked after this time stays at the risk of the prents. If a child continuously overstays you will be asked to withdraw him/her.
Children who are absent for 2 weeks without notifying the school loose their place.
The prescribed school uniform must be worn always and hair should be neatly plaited when permed for the Pre-school & Lower Primary or low cut when unpermed for the Upper Primary & J. H. S. pupils.
As homework is essential inevaluating both pupil and teacher, each child is expeced to do his/her homework under the guidance of parents. Parents should sign the homework of the child any unsigned work won't be marked.
The school reserves the right to cane or expel any child who makes it a habit of not doing his/her homework.
Parents have the right at any time to see a teacher about academic performance of a child.
Warning letters will be given to children who perform below the standard required. After the third and final warning letter, parents would be asked to withdraw the child from the school.
School fees are paid on termly basis three times a year. Fees must be paid fully by the end of the third month. Attendance during any day of the term rquires that full amount of fees must be paid.
If any parent has any grievance concerning anyting or anyone involved in St. Peter's International School, it is recommended that the parent approaches the head to discuss the problem.
At least one parent/guardian should be present at P. T. A. meetings and all other school functions. Failure to attend P. T. A. meetings and other school functions is an indication of lack interest on the part of the parents and this will attract a firne. Continuous absenteeism could lead to withdrawal of the child from the school.
